Troubleshooting HalloweenBot

Slash commands are missing or do not respond

• Confirm HalloweenBot is in the server and online.
• Check the channel permits the bot to view and send messages.
• Try /help or /checkperms.
• Check whether the command has a cooldown.

A settings command says you lack permission

/setup, /levels, /welcome and /seteventconfig require Manage Server. Ask a server manager to review the configuration.

The daily countdown is not posting

Check the feature is enabled, the selected channel is correct, and the timezone and scheduled time are set as intended. See daily countdown.

Halloween Radio is silent

Join a voice channel, confirm Connect and Speak permissions, and check playback controls. See Radio & soundboard.

Monster Drops have stopped

Check that the event is still enabled. HalloweenBot turns it off if it loses a required permission in the event channel, and tells the server owner by direct message. Also check your start and end dates, and whether the server has been quiet. See event setup.

The reward role isn't being given out

HalloweenBot needs Manage Roles, and its role must be above the reward role in your server's role list.

Pumpkin Hunter or Ghost Hunter isn't appearing

These hunts only run in October, and only on messages from the last 6 hours. See Pumpkin Hunter & Ghost Hunter.

Ghostbuster cannot find a target

The bot needs access to eligible recent messages, including Read Message History and Add Reactions.

I can't open a support ticket

Enable direct messages from HalloweenBot and retry /support.

Could this be an outage?

Run /status or check SeasonalBots Status.
